Janelle Monae has become the latest face of CoverGirl.
The Tightrope singer, 26, appears in the new campaign for the cosmetics company, which will debut in the September issue of U.S. Vogue next week.
She wears bright and bold red lipstick in the image, which marries her retro signature with an androgynous suit, shirt and skinny tie.
Janelle said in a press release: 'I believe it's time that women truly owned their superpowers and used their beauty and strength to change the world around them.'
