2face Idibia, M.I, and four other top Nigerian artistes are set to headline a forthcoming Live Nation tour billed to hold in the US this summer.
The seven-city tour, scheduled to run from August 1-12, will also feature Chocolate City stars Jesse Jagz and BrymO, as well as Now Muzik’s Timi Dakolo, and J Martins.
Titled the United Sounds of Africa,
we’re told the tour marks Live Nation’s first ever promoted road tour
and is designed to offer African talent the platform to showcase their
world-class ability on the best stages available.
‘It’s a massive moment. It presents a
perfect platform to connect with fans of the beautiful music coming out
of Africa and taking the world by storm. I’m excited and it’s going to
be a lot of fun’ said 2face, an iconic African pop star who is leading his colleagues on the tour.
The tour is put together by Interglobe Entertainment Group (IEG) and Live Nation, with support from Now Muzik, Beat FM and Chocolate City
