OKENE TURNED SOLDIERS DEN; DESERTED BY RESIDENTS!

OKENE TURNED SOLDIERS DEN; DESERTED BY RESIDENTS!

The mighty are fallen and fast falling. Such is the case of Okene, a major town in Kogi State Nigeria. The recent invasion of Boko Haram in that town has left the Government with no other option than to impose a 24 hours coufew on the town, which have since turned Okene to a complete grave yard. Ayemafrica crew had a rare experience of yesterday while on a trip to Lagos enroot Okene. The soldiers were seen all over the places and are acting in a high rated level of law enforcement as few people who were caught even on the corridor of their houses were treated to a level of comatose.

The entire town at moment is in a total shadow of itself. People were seen peeping from their house windows and few who were caught outside were seen carrying food flasks as they dance to punishment given to them by the soldiers. Every where is deserted and the army are having a full reign in the Boko Haram torn town of Okene.

The killing of about 20 worshipers at a Deeper Deeper Life Bible Church and the subsequent attack on a Mosque with the recent discovery of Bomb manufacturing centers in this part of Kogi State has drawn large attention to this town that in the past has already been known as a war friendly place. Now, Okene in the hand of merciless soldiers appears to be the most law abiding center in the nation.
How did Boko Haram commence in Nigeria? Who started it and for what reasons? What did we do wrong as a nation that warranted this satanic reward? I watched with panic as near to the grave old woman who sat at frontage frying akara (bean cake) was almost kicked out of life by soldiers as they made their way to maintain the enforcement of the 24 hours curfew. Her akara all thrown away and hot frying oil splashing everywhere. What is the government doing?

The Kogi State Governor made a very harsh remark as he tried to condemn the killings that have taken place in this town as he urged the traditional ruler of Okene to live up to his responsibilities.

What is happening in Nigeria today is certainly not what we desire and we must all agree that there is more than enough that the government knows about these whole things but because of their demonic desire for power, they prefer to allow the killings to continue as long as it will help them in any way cling to power. They may have been blind folded by their love for power that the end of an evil ambition is boldly awaiting them.

Nigerians knows their enemies!
